Welcome to Dream Big

Dream Big is a program of arts workshops and events in Melton.

Dream Big is about doing music, dance, art, film-making and circus with young people.

It’s Dreaming Big about what you can do with your life, and coming up with all sorts of creative ways to show how you feel.

Dream Big is thinking about your challenges and finding creative, imaginative, helpful solutions to overcome obstacles.

Dream Big is led by a big team of artists and wellbeing workers, and is open to people of all ages who want to get involved!

Mount Carberry Recreation Reserve, nr Melton South Community Centre, 31 Exford Road.

Opening ceremony, multicultural music, dance and circus performances, art exhibition, schools’ showcase, world kitchen and food stalls.

On RUOK? Day Thursday 8 Sept 2022 11am - 2pm

We are streaming from:  The Bowery Theatre 33 Princess Street,  St Albans.

Building on the excitement and massive online audience attracted in 2021, and showcasing the wonderful talents of young musicians, singers, dancers, performing and creative artists, in primary and secondary schools in Melbourne’s west, the DREAM BIG YOUTH MUSIC FESTIVAL promises to be bigger and better in 2022.

Simulcast across the world on RUOK? Day – on the LIVE online streaming platform and global radio station LIVE FM – this is a festival that has youth in the west of Melbourne, and beyond, using their creative and musical talents, to build awareness of important mental health messages that inspire health and wellbeing in their communities.

The Dream Big Festival 2021 Youth Music Festival can be listened to on radio station LIVE FM, and can be watched on the LIVE V live video streaming platform on RUOK? DAY Thursday September 9th, 2021, at 9.00am to 11.20am

The event will be hosted live, and schools’ contributions will be interspersed with special messages of hope and inspiration made by the Dream Big Artists Team and others. 

A replay of the event, in addition to event podcasts and videos of student performances, will be available on the LIVE V video streaming platform, for on-demand listening and viewing after the live broadcast.
